Kathy McCabe
Founder | Owner | Principal Designer
Kathy brings more than 25 years of design and entrepreneurial experience to KBM Designs and My Favorite Room. Her unique style of mixing old and new regularly delights our clients and customers. Whether designing a home or merchandising a store vignette, her love of nature and objects that “tell a story” are the foundation of everything she creates.

Lindsey Horton
Senior Designer
With 15 years of interior design experience, Lindsey ensures our clients receive the most up-to-date expert advice, from construction consultations to full-service home and commercial installations, and everything in-between. She is also the primary buyer and stylist for Finley & Mac, our not-to-be missed clothing and accessory boutique located in My Favorite Room.

Sarah Harris
Junior Designer
Sarah has extensive background in all facets of interior design acquired over her more than 20 year career. Most recently she was a project manager in a hospitality design firm. She brings additional experience in design operations, purchasing, luxury furnishing sales, and residential design. Her primary focus will be creating technical drawings, as well as supporting the senior design team with interior design projects from inception through installation.

Andrea Wilcox
Merchandising & Marketing Lead
Andrea brings more than 20 years of experience in communications, consulting, and interior design. Her primary role is to support principal designer, Kathy, in implementing and maintaining the merchandising vision for My Favorite Room. She also helps manage the KBM design team’s resource library as well as participate in design installations. Last but not least, she contributes to marketing efforts by managing the company’s website.

Janice Fluker
Customer Liaison | Policies and Procedures & Operations
A former flight attendant, Janice brings impeccable customer service and attention to detail to My Favorite Room. She ensures that consistent procedures are implemented so that every interaction with our company exudes customer service excellence. Additionally, she is primarily responsible for the company’s operations to ensure orders for both design and the store are correctly processed, shipped and received to ensure that our clients and customers receive correct and on-time products and materials.

Terri Webb
Customer Liaison | Antiques & Home Furnishings
A long-time educator and consultant, Terri thrives on learning the needs of each customer that enters My Favorite Room, be it furnishings, accessories or unique tabletop items. She is one of our primary custodians of antique descriptions and histories, always happy to chat and share information -- when she isn’t working with store clients to ensure they receive the personalized service My Favorite Room prides itself on. She is also a primary go-to for organizing and hosting in-store special events.

Camryn Frederickson
Junior Marketing Specialist
Previously owning her own small business—fabricating and selling home and fashion accessories—as well as supporting a family roofing business with social media, makes Camryn a valuable contributor to our team. In addition to being ever present with an iPhone so as not to miss a photo op, she helps create and coordinate our special marketing events and programs at the store. She also provides as-needed support to our design, operations and retail teams.
